Partnerships For Development

In March 2023, representatives from Ubunthu Zambia had a meeting with the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in Lusaka to discuss various developmental issues and partnership opportunities. Ubunthu proposed potential areas of collaboration, including capacity-building programs, community-driven development initiatives, and joint advocacy efforts to promote rural development policies and practices.

We highlighted the need for transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making processes at the local level to ensure that public resources are used effectively and efficiently. The Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation for the work being done by the NGO and acknowledged the importance of government and NGO joining forces. He welcomed the proposal for collaboration and expressed willingness to explore opportunities for joint initiatives and activities.
