In our effort to reach out to most rural parts of Choma district, the Ubunthu Team travelled down to Chief Macha’s palace to pay a courtesy call and introduce two key community empowerment projects, aimed at promoting economic empowerment for women by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Additionally, we shared notes and good project ideas that we can implement in Macha chiefdom.
Chief Macha welcomed the initiatives and expressed support for collaborative efforts that foster community development, economic resilience and empowering Families. The Chief shares how he feels men and women should be empowered together as a way of strengthening Families.
We look forward to working closely with Chief Macha and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of developmental and empowering projects in the area.
Macha area is about 75 kilometers from Choma district and about 35 km from Namwala road to the Palace.
