Highlights from Ubunthu’s first -ever Start-up symposium in Choma.

Highlights from the recent Ubunthu’s first -ever Start-up symposium by Ubunthu Enablers in Choma graced by the Deputy Permanent secretary for Southern province Madam Yolanda Mutyambe.

The event was held under the theme”Sustainable start-ups;Creating jobs, changing lives”.

The event brought together 76 Start- up participants learning business and 6 (Six) stepping up to showcase their Pitching Skills for their small businesses.

The event presented lessons starting from Business Idea development, Business planning, Budgeting,cash flows and Capita requirements among other drought discussions.

Speaking during the official opening of the Symposium,Deputy Permanent Secretary Madam Yolanda Mutyambe Thanked Ubunthu for hosting the first ever start-up business symposium in. Choma.
She commended Ubunthu Enablers for Supplementing the Zambian Government’s efforts to empower local businesses with practical business skills.

In attendance was also Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development provincial-Coodinator Elvis Nvula, Choma Chamber of Commerce Trade and Union -Chairperson Mr Evans Chisenga, Representative of Zambia Business Angels Network Ms Ndita among other notables.
