Super Valley Foods

Emmanuel Manyepa is the founder of Musanza Organic Farm, a company growing organic vegetables. Benefiting from his experience and commercial network Emmanuel has founded Super Valley Organic Foods (SVOF) to complement the product portfolio with fruits and products made from the fruits.

Super Valley Organic Foods Limited a startup business located in Sinazongwe district about 130 km southeast of the provincial capital Choma of Southern Province  of Zambia is an indigenous fruit processing company. SVOF product range targets nutrition, cosmetics and animal feed segments. Currently the main products include the fruits of the baobab and tamarind trees. 

The company focusses on producing 100% pure forest fruit juice and various other local foods. Production has started already with processing Baobab, Tamarind, Masiku and other fruits found in the catchment area.

Since April, 2023 Ubunthu has been supporting SVOF in business management. Training of the workers in corporate governance and aligning the functions of every member of management to Good Corperate governance practice among many other topics.

During their recent stay in Zambia, Manfred and Christine Klepacz visited SVF together with Chippoh Mweemba and Brenda Michelo. Discussing the business with SVF founder Emmanuel Manyepa, Emmanuel explained he considers his business as part of an effort to preserve forests and indigenous trees in the area. The communities are engaged in harvesting the fruits and supplying them to SVF. Thus they are able to make a good family income and trees will be preserved and no longer cut down.
